Dr. Tolley believes that patients should be made an expert in their disease so they can make informed decisions about their own health care. The most rewarding aspect of his practice is caring for patients on a day-to-day basis.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Tolley is chairman of the multidisciplinary cancer committee at Centura St. Anthony Hospitals. He was previously medical director of the Hospice of Peace and past chairman of the internal medicine department at North Suburban Medical Center. He currently is a clinical instructor at the University of Colorado.
Dr. Tolley considers himself a better-than-average gardener and is especially proud of his snowboarding skills.
Dr. Tolley earned his undergraduate and medical degrees at the University of Virginia. He completed an internal medicine residency at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center, which was followed by a fellowship in oncology/hematology at the University of Colorado. He is board certified in internal medicine, medical oncology and hematology.
